Excellent value if you already pay for a helpdesk and handle far more than 200 tickets, with the catch that at exactly 200 the $199 floor is overkill.

True solo cost — low volume~$199/mo for My AskAI alone — 1 helpdesk, assumption: Pro at $199/mo covers ~50 resolved conversations well within its 1,000 included tickets; your Zendesk, Intercom or other helpdesk seat is extra and not included
True solo cost — typical volume~$199/mo for My AskAI alone — 1 helpdesk, assumption: Pro at $199/mo covers ~200 resolved conversations within its 1,000 included tickets at no extra usage cost; total cost of ownership is $199 plus your existing helpdesk plan
No-code score (4/5)

What My AskAI is — in our words

My AskAI is an AI layer, not a helpdesk. It installs as an approved app inside Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Freshchat, Gorgias or HubSpot and answers tickets and chats there, so a solo founder who already likes their inbox does not have to migrate anything. It trains on your help centre articles, documents in Google Drive, Notion, Confluence and similar sources, and — distinctively — on your historic tickets, and it keeps learning from the replies you send on escalations. You choose per channel and per topic whether it sends directly, leaves a draft note for your approval, or stays out entirely, which makes a cautious rollout easy: start in draft, watch it, then let it send on the questions it proves it can handle. Connected through your own APIs it can see live account, order and subscription data and take actions you define, such as processing a refund or cancellation, and a Chrome copilot helps you answer manually elsewhere. Handoff happens inside your helpdesk with the customer simply talking to your team next, and the AI steps aside. Its economics are its headline: a flat plan with a large ticket allowance and cheap overage, billed per ticket worked on rather than per resolution, so the bill does not rise just because it gets better. The floor, $199 a month plus your existing helpdesk, is the solo problem.

What it does end-to-end

  • Answers tickets and chats inside Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Gorgias or HubSpot — no helpdesk migration
  • Learns from help docs, Drive and Notion sources and your historic tickets, and from your escalation replies
  • Lets you choose send, draft-for-approval or no AI per channel and topic
  • Can call your APIs for live data and defined actions such as refunds and cancellations

What it does NOT do

  • Provide a helpdesk, inbox or chat widget of its own as the core product — you must already pay for one
  • Offer a cheap entry tier — Pro at $199 a month is the starting point
  • Include every extra for free — AI tagging, tasks and branding removal carry per-use or add-on costs

Integrations we verified: Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Gorgias, HubSpot, Shopify, Slack, Notion

Pros — our take

  • Cheapest per-ticket economics at volume and a bill that does not punish a rising resolution rate
  • Draft-first control per topic is the best cautious rollout model in this list
  • Keeps working if you switch helpdesks later — no re-platforming of your support

Cons — our take

  • $199 monthly floor is hard to justify at only 200 conversations unless your time is expensive
  • Total cost is My AskAI plus your helpdesk — the comparison is never $199 all-in
  • Smaller vendor than the helpdesk giants, with support and longevity risk to weigh

Other answer customers agents

Easiest first AI agent for a solo shop — learns your help pages and answers chat and email in minutes

The best starting point for most solo shops, with the catch that you pay for the inbox and the AI as two separate products.

True solo cost (typical)~$189/mo — 1 operator, assumption: Growth at $49.17/mo billed annually + Lyro 200-conversation quota at ~$140/mo monthly billing (~$0.70/conversation at that tier) = ~$189/mo for ~200 resolved conversations

Email-first shared inbox with a simple $0.75 AI agent for founders who live in email

Ideal if email is your main channel, with the catch that it answers questions rather than doing ecommerce jobs for you.

True solo cost (typical)~$175/mo — 1 seat, assumption: Standard $25/mo billed annually + 200 resolutions × $0.75 = $175/mo for ~200 resolved conversations

One flat workspace price for chat, email and social — AI credits included, no per-seat shock

The most budget-predictable option if you adopt its inbox, with the catch that the useful AI starts at $95, not $45.

True solo cost (typical)~$95/mo — 1 workspace, assumption: Essentials at $95/mo is needed for ~200 resolved conversations (Mini's ~90 allowance is too small); Essentials includes ~450, so 200 fits flat with no extra seat cost
