Privacy policy

Every page carries Google Analytics 4, which measures how the site is used in aggregate: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (country and city level), what device and browser they use, and which site or search sent them here. We read those aggregate reports to decide which jobs, listings and guides to improve. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors, and we do not run advertising remarketing off the back of it.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell visits apart (see the cookies section below). You can block them in your browser and the site works exactly the same.

The submit and claim forms are delivered to our email inbox by Web3Forms, a form-delivery service. When you send one, we receive exactly what you typed — your name, your email address and the details of the agent or correction — and we use it only to review the submission, apply verified corrections and reply to you. Form messages are kept as ordinary email correspondence. If you want a form submission deleted, email us and we will delete it.

If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and your message, and we use them to answer you. Nothing more is attached to it.

The cookies on this site today are the analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, described above. The site itself is a static site and sets no cookies of its own — there is no login to remember and no cart to keep.

If advertising is introduced on the site later (for example Google AdSense), the advertising provider may set its own cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where you have consented to them in your Google settings. If that happens, this policy will be updated and the date above changed to say so plainly.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the services that make the site run — our hosting provider, Google for analytics and Web3Forms for form delivery — each only receiving what it needs to do that job. We do not build profiles of individual readers, and there is no behavioural tracking on this site beyond the aggregate analytics described above.

The listings describe businesses, not private individuals. The product names, pricing, plans and features in them come from the vendors’ own public pages and are public business information; how each listing is researched is set out in how we rank. A vendor who wants a listing corrected can claim it — the correction is verified against the official source before it goes live.
