The short version
ChatLLM bundles a multi-model chat, an AI agent, a creative and coding Studio and a desktop app into one $10-$20 seat metered by a shared credit pool.
Buy it if
You want whichever frontier model is best this month without stacking $20 subscriptions, and a bundled agent for odd multi-step jobs is worth a $20 Pro seat.
Skip it if
You need a free tier to test, published per-task costs to budget around, or an assistant grounded in your office suite — ChatLLM publishes none of the per-model credit rates.
What ChatLLM by Abacus.AI does — the jobs it finishes
Workflows are built only from verified capabilities in our listing research — no vendor copy, nothing invented.
The best model for the job, in one seat
Starts A task would suit a different model family than your main assistant uses
- You pick or route to the model inside ChatLLM instead of opening another subscription
- Messages draw on the shared monthly credit pool
You get An answer from the model you chose, under one bill
Model-hopping stops meaning subscription-stacking
A multi-step job handed to the agent
Starts A research, document or build job has several steps you would rather not drive manually
- On Pro, you brief the AI Agent and let it work through the steps with your credits
- You review the finished output before using it
You get A completed multi-step deliverable
Approval Review agent output before it reaches a customer — and check the credit log after the run
Odd jobs get delegated without hiring or hand-holding each step
A small app or asset built in Studio
Starts A landing page, image set or short video is needed for a launch
- Studio builds the asset using the same credit pool as chat
- Pro removes the Basic conversation and per-conversation caps
You get A usable app, image or video asset
Creative and build tools ride on the subscription you already pay
Where it stops
- No free tier — the first test costs a month at $10
- Exact credit cost per model is not published, so heavy use cannot be budgeted precisely in advance
- The monthly subscription credit pool resets; only separately purchased credits roll over
- Not an office-suite-grounded assistant for your Word, Excel or Google files
Getting started
Before you start
- No free tier — testing starts with a paid month at $10; cancel anytime and the month stays active
The ongoing admin
- Monitor the credit usage log — per-model rates are unpublished, so the log is the budget
- Remember purchased credits roll over but the monthly pool resets
Step 1Start on Basic with chat-only work
Spend the first month routing real questions across models and watch the credit log to learn your burn rate.
Step 2Upgrade to Pro only for the agent
Basic caps the Agent at 3 limited tasks — upgrade when you have a real multi-step job, not before.
Step 3Watch the final-week pacing
The last 25% of the Basic pool is reserved for the last week, so front-loading heavy work early in the month will hit a wall.

Add-onAdditional credits — Extra credits can be purchased in the product; unlike the monthly pool, purchased credits roll over month to month, per the billing FAQ. For months where agent, media or API work burns the pool early
Add-onAbacus.AI Enterprise platform — Separate enterprise platform starting at $5,000 — not required for ChatLLM and not part of the solo price. Mentioned only so the figure is not mistaken for a ChatLLM tier
What could make the bill jump?
The seat price never jumps — $10 to $20 is the whole ladder — but the credit pool is the hidden meter: exact per-model rates are unpublished, the Basic pool's last quarter is paced into the final week, and a heavy agent or media month ends in top-up credits rather than a higher tier.

Price record · 2026-11-08: Checked 2026-11-08 directly on Abacus.AI's official billing FAQ (abacus.ai/help/chatllm-ai-super-assistant/faqs/billing), read in full this run: a ChatLLM subscription is $10 per user per month, billed on signup and cancellable anytime; Basic carries 20,000 credits with Agent access limited to 3 tasks and Studio to 3 conversations; the Pro tier costs an additional $10 (so $20 total) with 30,000 credits, unrestricted Agent and Studio access and SuperComputer access at 1 credit per 5 minutes of runtime; a first-month promotion can reduce Basic credits proportionally (for example 14,000 credits on a $7 promotional month) — the $10 list price, not any promotion, is recorded here. The FAQ confirms additional invited users are billed immediately at $10/user/month and that the separate Enterprise platform starts at $5,000. No price changed.

- Workflows that need an assistant grounded in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
Our assessment of ChatLLM by Abacus.AI
ChatLLM is Abacus.AI's answer to subscription sprawl: instead of paying separately for several frontier assistants, one seat gives you a chat interface that routes across a wide roster of leading models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others, with new models added as they ship. Around that chat sits the rest of the Abacus bundle — an AI Agent that carries out multi-step tasks, a Studio for building apps, images and video, a coding environment and a desktop app — all drawing on one monthly credit pool. The pricing is unusually simple at the top and unusually fuzzy underneath. Basic is $10 per user per month with 20,000 credits; the Pro tier is $20 in total and raises the pool to 30,000 credits while removing the Basic caps on Agent and Studio use and unlocking the always-on SuperComputer. What a credit buys, however, is not published per model: Abacus states openly that exact per-model credit rates are not published because models and rates change, and the vendor paces the last quarter of the Basic pool into the final week of the month. There is no free tier, so testing costs a first month's $10, though a discounted first-month promotion sometimes appears at checkout and should be treated as a promotion, not the price. For a solo founder the proposition is strongest as a second subscription: a cheap way to reach whichever frontier model is best this month, plus an agent for odd jobs, without committing your main workflow to any single vendor. It is weakest as a system of record — there is no office-suite grounding story comparable to the platform assistants, and the credit opacity means a very heavy month is hard to budget in advance, even though purchased top-up credits, unlike the monthly pool, roll over.
Pros — our take
- The cheapest route to many frontier models in one seat — $10 against several $20 subscriptions
- Agent, Studio, coding and desktop tools are bundled rather than sold as separate products
- Per-user team pricing stays at the same $10 as the solo seat
Cons — our take
- No free tier, and exact per-model credit costs are unpublished
- Basic's Agent and Studio caps push anyone testing the agent to the $20 Pro tier
- Credit pacing in the final week can surprise a user who front-loads heavy work

Solo Fit stays the public score: the qualitative roll-up of these four published inputs under the How We Rank method. Price and model breadth carry it; the no-code score reflects a more technical, credit-managed product than a plain chatbot, and credit opacity is stated in the verdict.
Three to compare before you decide
The difference: Another multi-model subscription at $19.99/month on a transparent-ish points catalogue — the catch is premium models burn points quickly where ChatLLM's $10 Basic seat is half the entry price.
The difference: A single-vendor assistant with custom GPTs, scheduled tasks and Codex at $20/month — the catch is one model family where ChatLLM routes across many.
The difference: A free, strong reasoning chat with a 1M-token context — the catch is it is a chat window only, with no bundled agent, Studio or team seats.
Questions buyers ask about ChatLLM by Abacus.AI
What does ChatLLM cost for one person?
Basic is $10 per user per month with 20,000 credits. Pro is $20 in total per user per month — the $10 Basic seat plus a $10 upgrade — with 30,000 credits and unrestricted Agent and Studio access. The directory's True Solo Cost is $10 low (Basic) and $20 typical (Pro). There is no free tier.
How far do the credits go?
Abacus does not publish exact credit costs per model, and says so openly: credits measure use across chat, agent, media and API work, and heavier models consume more. The billing FAQ says 20,000 credits should cover thousands of messages on top models, and the in-product credit log is the reliable way to learn your own burn rate.
What does Pro actually unlock?
Three things: unrestricted AI Agent and Studio access while credits last (Basic caps the Agent at 3 limited tasks and Studio at 3 conversations), stronger models, and the SuperComputer — an always-on computer for persistent agents and hosted services, billed at 1 credit per 5 minutes of runtime.
Do unused credits roll over?
The monthly subscription pool does not — it resets on your renewal date. Separately purchased credits do roll over to the following month, per the vendor's billing FAQ.
