The best pick here if LinkedIn belongs in your sequence — just price the plan plus data credits together, not the headline alone.

True solo cost — low volume$69/mo — Email plan billed monthly for about 500 prospects/mo (50,000 emails/mo across the team), assuming you import your own list; finding up to about 400 emails/mo through lemlist adds roughly $20 in data credits
True solo cost — typical volume$109/mo — Multichannel for 1 user for about 2,000 prospects/mo when LinkedIn steps are part of the sequence, plus data credits on top; email-only at this volume stays on the $69 Email plan before credits
No-code score (4/5)

What Lemlist is — in our words

Lemlist is an outbound sequencing platform for founders who want more than email. This is outbound prospecting, not inbound capture: you source contacts from its built-in lead database or import your own, enrich emails and phone numbers with credits, then run sequences that mix email steps with LinkedIn visits, connection requests and messages, calls and, on the multichannel tier, SMS and WhatsApp. Personalisation is a strength — variables, images and AI-assisted copy help a one-person sender avoid obviously templated outreach — and its warm-up tool, lemwarm, is included to protect deliverability. Replies are gathered for you to work personally; lemlist helps you write and send, but it does not autonomously negotiate, handle objections end-to-end or book the meeting for you. That human-in-the-loop reality suits a founder who is also the salesperson and wants quality conversations rather than maximum blast volume. The pricing trap is the split between the headline plan and the data layer: the Email plan is priced per team by send volume with no credits included, LinkedIn requires the per-user Multichannel plan, and finding and enriching contacts runs on a separate credit meter. Model those three numbers together, plus extra senders, before comparing it with flat-fee email-only tools that look cheaper at first glance.

What it does end-to-end

  • Run sequences combining email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS and WhatsApp steps
  • Find leads from a built-in database and enrich them with credits
  • Personalise outreach with variables, images and AI copy help
  • Warm connected mailboxes with the included lemwarm tool
  • Sync campaign activity to HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive

What it does NOT do

  • Handle replies and objections autonomously or book meetings for you
  • Include meaningful lead-finding credits on the entry Email plan
  • Offer LinkedIn automation on the cheaper Email plan — it needs Multichannel
  • Remove LinkedIn automation account risk, which every vendor in this channel carries

Pros — our take

  • Genuine multichannel sequences in one builder, not email alone
  • Strong personalisation options for a founder who sells personally
  • Warm-up included rather than sold as a surprise add-on

Cons — our take

  • Plan, data credits and extra senders are three separate cost lines
  • LinkedIn steps force the more expensive per-user plan
  • Per-user Multichannel pricing grows fast if you later add help

Other find & chase leads agents

One database, sequencer and dialer for a founder who wants outbound without stitching tools together

The most complete solo outbound starter — as long as you accept that you are the SDR and Apollo is the engine, not the rep.

True solo cost (typical)$49/mo — same Basic seat covers roughly 2,000 email prospects/mo within the annual credit pool; stepping to Professional at $79/mo is about workflow and dialer features, not prospect volume, assuming mobiles are used sparingly

Flat-fee cold email sending with unlimited mailboxes, plus a lead database sold on credits

Excellent value if cold email is your channel — budget for the bundle, not the $47 headline, plus domains and mailboxes.

True solo cost (typical)$194/mo — Scale bundle (Hypergrowth sending plus 5,000 credits/mo and 25,000 uploaded contacts) for about 2,000 prospects/mo, because the Starter credit and contact caps run out first

Deliverability-focused cold email sending with unlimited mailboxes and agency-grade infrastructure

A strong, honest sending engine for a founder who brings their own list — the $39 headline becomes roughly $98-$153 once data is included.

True solo cost (typical)$153/mo — Pro $94 plus the $59/mo verified add-on for about 2,000 prospects/mo with longer multi-step sequences (Pro allows 30,000 contacts and 90,000 sends/mo); Unlimited Smart at $174/mo includes 50,000 verified emails instead
