The short version
Notion Calendar is a free calendar app that puts your Notion database deadlines and your real events in one view — $0, with no paid calendar tier.
Buy it if
Your projects, content or client work already live in Notion databases with dates, and you want them visible beside your meetings.
Skip it if
You need booking-and-payment workflows, auto-scheduling, or you do not use Notion — there is no standalone reason to adopt it.
What Notion Calendar does — the jobs it finishes
Workflows are built only from verified capabilities in our listing research — no vendor copy, nothing invented.
Deadlines and meetings in one view
Starts Your Notion databases hold dated work your calendar cannot see
- Connect Google Calendar or iCloud and your Notion workspace
- Databases with dates appear as calendar events via Open in Calendar
- Drag and review deadlines beside real meetings
You get One calendar where project dates and meetings coexist
No more double-booked deadline days
Meetings that carry their docs
Starts A meeting has a Notion page, agenda or related records
- Open the event in Notion Calendar
- The attached Notion doc and database context are right there
- Join the call from the event with the doc already open
You get A meeting you arrive at prepared, without tab hunting
Prep time before calls shrinks
One-to-ones without the email thread
Starts Someone needs a one-to-one with you
- Share your scheduling link or availability from Notion Calendar
- They pick a time that suits them
- The event lands with its Notion context attachable
You get A booked one-to-one without back-and-forth
Light scheduling without a separate booking tool
Where it stops
- Does not take payment at booking or run paid-session workflows
- Does not auto-schedule or reshuffle tasks — dated items appear, but nothing is planned for you
- AI meeting notes are a Notion workspace feature (Business plan), not part of the free calendar app
Getting started
Before you start
- A Notion account — the free plan is enough
- A Google Calendar or iCloud calendar to connect
The ongoing admin
- Keep database dates honest — the calendar shows what Notion knows
- Remember AI meeting notes are a Notion workspace feature, not a calendar feature
- No billing to watch: there is no paid calendar tier

Free. Notion Calendar is included on Notion's Free plan per notion.com/pricing and was announced as free to all users; there is no separate Calendar price or paid Calendar tier. Paid Notion workspace plans (billed per member) buy workspace features such as AI meeting notes and the Notion Agent — they are not required for, and do not upgrade, the calendar itself.

Price record · 2026-11-07: First listing check, 2026-11-07. Method: notion.com/pricing was read directly — its Free-plan feature list includes 'Notion Calendar' by name, and no Calendar price or paid Calendar tier appears anywhere on the page (the page's per-member dollar figures are JS-rendered and did not extract as text, so no workspace figure is quoted from that page). Corroboration from the same official domain only: Notion's launch post (notion.com/blog/introducing-notion-calendar) states 'Notion Calendar is available now, and is free to all users', and an official Notion help page states the separate Business workspace plan renews at $22 per member per month — a workspace price, not a calendar price, recorded here only to prevent confusion.

Our assessment of Notion Calendar
Notion Calendar costs $0, as of November 2026: Notion's own pricing page lists Notion Calendar among the features included on the Free plan, and Notion's launch announcement states plainly that it is free to all users. It is not a booking-link tool and it will not take payments — it is a calendar app, the successor to Cron, that merges your Google Calendar (and now iCloud) events with dated Notion database items, so a project deadline, a content plan and a client call finally sit in one view. Events carry their Notion pages with them: open a meeting and its doc, agenda and related database records are attached rather than buried in another app. It offers scheduling links and availability sharing for one-to-ones, menu-bar and desktop and mobile apps, and automatic time-zone handling for distributed work. The honest limits matter for this job: there is no task auto-scheduling or reshuffling, no inbox management, and AI meeting notes live in Notion itself — a Business-plan workspace feature — not in the calendar app. If you do not use Notion, there is little reason to start for the calendar alone. But if your work already lives in Notion databases, this is the rare listing whose True Solo Cost is genuinely zero with no paid tier pushing at you: the calendar is free whether your workspace is Free or paid, and the paid Notion plans buy workspace features, not calendar features.
Pros — our take
- Genuinely free with no paid calendar tier and no upsell wall
- Dated Notion database work finally appears next to real meetings
- Events carry their docs with them — no hunting for the agenda
Cons — our take
- Only worth it if your work already lives in Notion
- No payment at booking, packages or paid-session workflows
- No auto-scheduling or reshuffling — it displays time, it does not plan it

Solo Fit stays the public score: the qualitative roll-up of these four published inputs under the How We Rank method. A 5/5 no-code setup and an unambiguous $0 price carry it; its narrow Notion-only value is a fit question, not a score input.
Three to compare before you decide
The difference: Morgen is a paid planner-calendar that time-blocks tasks from your task apps; Notion Calendar is free but only displays your Notion database dates.
The difference: Calendly is a booking-and-payment platform at $0–$10; Notion Calendar is a free calendar view whose scheduling links carry no payments or packages.
The difference: Amie blends calendar, tasks and meeting notes in one paid app; Notion Calendar is free and notes-free, and only shines inside a Notion workflow.
Questions buyers ask about Notion Calendar
What does Notion Calendar cost?
Nothing. Notion's pricing page lists Notion Calendar as included on the Free plan, and Notion's launch announcement states it is free to all users, checked 2026-11-07. There is no paid Calendar tier to upgrade to.
Do I need a paid Notion plan to use Notion Calendar?
No. A free Notion account is enough for the calendar, its Google and iCloud connections and its database views. Paid Notion plans buy workspace features — AI meeting notes and the Notion Agent sit on Business — not calendar features.
Does Notion Calendar replace a booking tool like Calendly?
Only for light one-to-ones: it offers scheduling links and availability sharing, but no payment at booking, packages or subscriptions. If clients pay you per session, keep a booking tool and use this as your calendar view.
Will it plan my day or reschedule my tasks?
No. It displays dated Notion database items beside your events so you can see clashes, but it does not auto-schedule or reshuffle anything. For automatic planning, compare Reclaim or Motion in this job.
